Mark’s career spans a rich variety of experiences. For 17 years, he was the school barber at the prestigious Stowe School, working with pupils from all walks of life. His commitment to adaptability was further demonstrated during a term at the Japanese School in Milton Keynes, where he honed his skills with Asian hair textures.
He also served the vibrant student body of Cranfield University through its Student Union, cutting hair for three years and building connections with people from around the globe.
A Legacy in Barbering with a Vision for the Future
With over four decades of barbering experience, Mark Periclis is a name synonymous with quality, tradition, and care in the grooming world. Trained by his father, Christos—a respected Cypriot barber—Mark began his journey in the craft at a young age. The foundation of his expertise was built at their family-run barbershop, Christos, on the High Street of Newport Pagnell, where father and son worked side by side for many years.
For 40 years, Mark served the local community with precision and passion, continuing the legacy his father started. In 2023, the family business was sold, marking the end of an era but the beginning of an exciting new chapter.
Mark now practices at the Hair & Skin Clinic MK in the serene village of Sherrington.
How I Help Clients - Giving Back: A New Dimension to the Craft
Recently, Mark has extended his skills to those most in need—cutting hair for the homeless through Unity Place at Lovett Hall in Newport Pagnell. This voluntary work has been both enlightening and deeply rewarding.
